About the Wine
This wine just gets better and better. After selling out of the 2018 reserve, this vintage has come just in time. Only three barrels of this beauty were produced. The wine was fermented using 60% whole bunch which creates an elegant savoury finish with red fruit aromas and chalky tannins. Dark, brooding, deluxe, drink now or cellar for 10 years.
Dried currant, tobacco, clove and licorice aromas. Voluptuous fruit flavours of spiced black cherry meld harmoniously with the fine-grained tannins. A large percentage of whole bunches and new oak produce a wine that is complex, savoury and generous. This wine is a potent varietal example of the Barossa Valley.
